As a life-long resident of Eugene, Oregon, I know the area quite well, and enjoy it undoubtedly. Beyond real estate, I am a mother, homeowner, landlord, herbalist, and lifelong student. I enjoy good friendships, laughing, learning, reconditioning my historic 1910 craftsman home, dancing, Biking, exercising, travel, and being in the forest.
I became a Realtor in 2019 and have had the pleasure of working with many Buyers and Sellers over the years. I have enjoyed the chance to listen to their different points of view and help them navigate the world of real estate whatever experience level they may be in. Whether they are a first-time home buyer, experienced investor, or anywhere in between, I can bring knowledge and ideas to the table to help guide people on their path into the real estate transaction and beyond.
The help doesn’t stop at closing. I make sure to be there after the transaction as well. I love to stay connected and help with anything home related for years to come.
Since 2007, I have gained real estate experience through growing my own real estate investment portfolio. Purchasing and managing multiple income producing properties as well as becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the ever-changing landlord/tenant laws, and the resources that are needed to manage these properties. I am also well-informed about the high-producing rental locations in the area, general market rent prices, and other aspects of income property management.
Some of my prior experience includes 15 years as a healthcare professional in a hospital setting, which honed my ability to listen and be compassionate to each and everyone’s individual needs during changing and challenging times in their life. I have also traveled extensively visiting several countries in SE Asia, Africa, Mexico, Central America, and other places both near and far, where I experienced a diverse array of cultures and traditions. Both experiences have broadened my understanding of sometimes non-verbal wants, needs, and desires. This has been key in helping clients discover and get into a property that best suits them and their goals. Because I believe even a primary residence can be an investment. I help clients view the bigger picture and get into a suitable home for their future investment. I see the importance of good communication and use these skills to better inform and advocate for my clients from screening a property to view to negotiations in a sale.
My husband is the owner of Roberts Hardwood Floors, a well-known and reputable hardwood floor company in Eugene. For many years, I helped with many facets of the business from management to learning the trade. This is an aspect that provides hands-on knowledge about construction practices, including remodels, repairs, and the costs associated with those activities. In this I have also learned about what is and what is not quality building products and styles as well as quality craftsmanship. This knowledge allows me to spot out major issues while in the initial viewing phase of a property and help you better navigate the inspections and advocate for necessary repairs, or properties to steer clear from. The experience also keeps me in the loop on the latest fads in building so that We can better market your home.
